مَضَى · أَمْضِيَ · امْضُوا · يَمْضِيًّا
فَأَهْلَكْنَآ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًۭا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
And the example of their destroyed predecessors has gone down in history.
