Qur’anic usage
Sense 1
هَدَى · هَدَانَا · يَهْدِي · اهْتَدَى · يَهْتَدِي · الْهُدَى · هُدًى · الْمُهْتَدِينَ · أَهْدَى
أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ هَدَى اللَّهُ فَبِهُدَاهُمُ اقْتَدِهْ
These ˹prophets˺ were ˹rightly˺ guided by Allah, so follow their guidance.

ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى هَدَىٰنَا لِهَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِنَهْتَدِىَ لَوْلَآ أَنْ هَدَىٰنَا ٱللَّهُ
Praise be to Allah for guiding us to this. We would have never been guided if Allah had not guided us.
